Yeah!! It feels so good to be writing my first blog, i have been having troubles, but now in here!! Typing this is making this whole thing feel real!! I'm still a little surprised at the fact that i am going to Africa in Sept!! If you would have said to me last year that i was going to Africa, i would have said you were crazy!! I have already sent my letters, it came to about 85 people,so i am praying that everything will go good! i know God will provide and i have to daily pray and ask Him to help me to trust him through this 180 turn in my life! I also have my 10 prayer partners that have comitted to praying for me through the support raising and my trip! I am praying for each of them about something specific in return. 

       ok, now its story time!!! i work at a store called target and i was cashiering one night and this older guy with his 20 something year old son had ALOT of stuff they were buying, so it took a while for me to get to the end. During this time they were talking to me, and it some how got to me telling them about my trip!  He asked how i ws raising the money, and i said that i am now working 2 jobs and sending out support letters. At the end of the sale, he paid me and gave an extra $20 and i said he paid too much. He smiled and said that he was giving that to me for the trip and tht he would pray for me!!!! i couldn't help but smile and i think i said thank you like 3 times!! All of this happened before i even sent out my letters or anything!!  that $20 was the first step and i daily think of the generous man and thank God for sending the angel who lifted my spirits about the trip. At that time i was still questionable about how everything was gonna work, but that small gift did more than that guy could have imagined!!!  So i encourage you, if you are still questionable on how you are gonna raise everything, give it to God cause he WILL provide!!   Love Always,  ~Vanessa~
